Outside Mounted Seals

Outside mounted seals are used in strongly corrosive applications. This arrangement allows seal designs that have no metal parts in contact with the process liquid. Both pusher designs and ptfe bellows designs exist.

Especially the PTFE bellows seals can not handle high pressures, temperatures and speeds.
