Balanced welded rotating Alloy 718 bellows seal for high temperature petrochemical services. The rotating face uses a contained face instead of a shrinkfit, which is another way of achieving low face distortion. This design is excellent for corrosive service. The use of extra thick Alloy 718 bellows diaphragms provides a very rugged bellows core. Since the bellows is rotating it provides a so-called 'self-cleaning' effect which reduces the possibility of solids entering the bellows convolutions.
